HOW DID YOU FIND KELLYE AND MILK & MOM?

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH MILK & MOM? SHARE YOUR STORY.

Initially, I didn’t think my baby had any major issues with feeding. I originally just scheduled with her to get rid of the nipple shield. Like magic — first time trying, he latched without it! After analyzing everything on my baby’s weight, birth, feeding, etc., Kellye noticed that he was dropping percentiles drastically. He went from the 50th percentile (at birth) to the 8th percentile. I would have never noticed because, to me, he was gaining & that’s all that mattered. Getting rid of the nipple shield, already improved his milk intake & I had never seen him so full & content. Although, my nipples were in excruciating pain to the point that I’d cry throughout feedings & my nipples were bleeding. I kept enduring through it because I thought it was normal without the shield. At our next visit she evaluated him further for ties & found that he had a significant upper lip tie, as well as, a tongue tie. She never pressured me to go through with the tie release but rather just explained the benefits of it for my baby & our breastfeeding journey. I knew that if I wanted to make it a year of breastfeeding happily, the release needed to happen. She walked us through the process & helped me feel so confident in doing what was best for my baby. Since seeing Kellye, he has jumped from the 8th percentile to the 65th. We went from 2/3 bottle per day to exclusively breastfeeding. Now I look forward to feeding him & feel so confident. I’ve been able to bond with him more than ever thanks to Kellye! She has saved my breastfeeding journey & I am forever grateful for her love & patience with my little family. I always look forward to seeing her. If I could, I would have her over everyday just to hang out & soak up all her knowledge. Truly a blessing in my life!
